Camp Dwight 2008

So after a wonderful day at Crater Lake we drove to the condo where we were to spend the night. It was a wonderful place to stay!

The next day dad took some of the kids to a nearby Smith Rock Park with amazingly huge rocks! Wow! Sarah had just been getting over being sick so she and Lydia stayed behind with mom and I to take a nap. It was such a nice relaxing time!

You can barely see the kids!

Wow! That is all I can say!

The boys trudging up the hill.

Zig zag trail, called Misery Trail.

Friday night at Camp! Keslie, David, Heather, Amy and Heather W.

Mrs. J!

Becca J! It was so wonderful to have them with us again!

Kami and Heather!

Heather W., Amy D., Hannah (friend of Becca's), Becca, and Heather.

The highlight of the weekend for some people was the huge waterslide! Ben is in the striped shirt. It is great fun to watch!

Sarah standing there freezing!

Gracie waiting her turn.

I guess this was because Annie was wiggling during a meeting! It worked and she could see better too!

Sarah and Lydia before a meeting.

Sarah enjoying the music!

Keslie playing her banjo! It was so fun to hear her play again!

Our new friend Sarah Naylor played with Keslie. Her brother did too, but I didn't get a picture of him.

Kami playing with them on her violin!

Sarah J, Heather and our Sarah listening to the music.

The zip line! It was so fun to watch everyone go down this with my own feet planted firmly on the ground. It's much safer that way... =)

There was dancing! What would a camp be like without dancing?

Sarah and I got to have a photo shoot! Becca was so kind to do it for us.

Thanks Becca!

Lydia finally gave up and fell asleep. She was so tired and if you look closely you can see how dirty she was after playing in the driveway while waiting for dinner, she didn't make it though!

Sarah and I (I met her on HSA)!

Another new friend! Hannah and I had met on HSA as well and I thoroughly enjoyed her lively conversations! She is a dear!

Hannah, Sarah and I together right before we had to leave. We had so much fun laughing together! It is just too bad we had to say our farewells...But new friends are worth it!

Heather and Hannah!

The camp was such fun! I feel truly blessed to be able to enjoy old friends and make new ones! Enjoying other believers is truly refreshing! So, now we have to wait a whole year before we go to camp again and it will be looked forward to with great anticipation! Mr. and Mrs. Johnson who host the camp are amazing people and we owe our many fond memories to their gracious hospitality and love for God and His people. They make us all feel so comfortable and make the whole time very relaxed. We pray God will bless them for all the time and money they put into the camp for us! They are wonderful people!
