Stepping Back in time with 10 people

Here are some pictures from our reenactment in Lebanon this past weekend, May 19th and 20th. We were able to camp right across from the C family! It was so delightful to be with them again. Dad and mom took the four younger children home for the night so we had room for a guest, Heather Wilson.
Dad and Mr. C discussing the war!

This picture is of Gabe. He and his brother Benjamin and our Benjamin had so much fun wrestling and playing together. They were so fun to watch, throwing one another down and rolling around on the grass, preparing to be protective men. It was delightful to watch boys enjoy one another and never get mad!

Taylor sitting by the campfire discussing the battles with friends.

Mrs. L. let Lydia play with her camera and she knew just what to do with it!

I think this is my favorite picture from the event! Isn't Keslie darling?

David and Mr. C examining one of the many guns!

Kami in the yellow, Sarah in the blue and yellow plaid, Annie in the blue, and a friend, Cassie.

This is Benjamin C. Him and our Benjamin were born 15 days a part! They had so much fun together! He is a true little man.

Anna L and Gracie helping Ben on the stilts.

Battle pictures.

Taylor is in the black hat looking down at his gun. This was his first battle ever and did great!

Taylor looking so handsome and grown up.

Lydia playing with her dolls. She is always squinting at reenactments!

She found a seat on the bread box!

I saw these flowers in a neighboring tent. They were so lovely!

Gracie and Anna drew crowds all weekend while walking on stilts! They both are very good on them and enjoyed sharing them with others.

Heather doing our good friend Ehlana's hair.

Kami doing Keslie's hair. We do a lot of that at events!

Heather sitting under the fly after lunch enjoying visiting.

Well I hope you enjoyed these! Leave us a note! We would love to hear from you!

My Bosch!!!!!!

God is so good! My mom and I went garage sailing this morning for my birthday. It started off kind of slow and not very exciting. We were looking for something pretty for a gift for a friend how lost her baby and things for my hope chest. The very last one we went into and I saw a Bosch with a bread hook, whisk, lid, food processor, and four blades and a pusher thing. The price was $10! but.....there was a man standing right over it reading the manual and he wouldn't walk away! So I started to pray that God would have the man walk away and leave it if He wanted me to have it.

So Mom and I kept our eye on him the whole time and for about 20 minutes he stood there reading the manual! So we paid for the other things and went to the car. Mom and I decided to sit and watch the man who was still standing over it and then mom said lets pray together, (even though we both had been praying the whole time). Right when we opened out eyes the man walked away WITHOUT the Bosch! I watched a few moments to make sure he wasn't going to get it and almost ran up to get it! We had heard the man run it and knew it worked so mom and I scooped it up and paid for it and it was mine! It was such a blessing and we both were so thankful and we were able then to pray and thank God for being so good to me! The Bosch was filthy but I was able to scrub it up and make it look lovely!

It's Our Benjamin's 7th Birthday!

Seven years ago today we were sitting around admiring a darling little boy who had just made his entrance into this world. Ever since then we have enjoyed him, loved him and watched him grow from baby to young man. We all love you Benjamin!
