My Nieces and a Nephew!

There are some days that I just yearn to hug and kiss on these precious children (we see them a lot, but there are days I feel that I miss them!)!  Some of my favorite moments are the times their little arms are about my neck and their little voices are talking to me.  I treasure every moment with these little ones because some day they will be all grown up and be too big for their auntie to hold them!  But I can be happy knowing they'll never out grow hugs and kisses!

Our happy Emma!  If that smile doesn't make your heart melt I don't know what will!

Precious Molly!  I love her darling little voice and her amazing hugs!

Our little man is growing up!  Owen is our charmer!  He makes the hearts of his aunties and grandma flutter when he's around!

Put all three together and you get intense cuteness!!!  We thank God for putting you three into your lives and hearts and can't wait to meet your little sister or brother in February!

3rd Anniversary and 250th post!

These last 3 years have flown by like the wind!  Moving in day was exciting and a ton of work, but thanks to friends and family we were moved and enjoyed a pizza dinner together.  It has been a huge blessing to enjoy the fruits of our labors as we thoroughly enjoy our home, making it a place we all love.

250th post!  I had no idea I've posted so many posts through the years!  Yay!

Emma and Molly are growing so quickly into lovely little ladies.  Emma is talking up a storm and is a busy girl who loves her aunties!  Molly is walking now and enjoys snuggling with her mama and smiling and playing with her family.   These girls are just precious to us!

Random Pictures...

...from the last couple months....okay...several months!  I can't believe how time has flown and I had no idea it's been so long since I've updated Behind the Scenes Blog.

Bright eyes!  Lydia is holding a lovely sign with a lovely message.

Yippy!!!!  My dear friend Sarah and her sister Rebecca came to visit this summer and like always we had a such a lovely time together making memories that will last a life time.

 Rebecca and Heather

Oh dear!  What can I say?  This is just one of those pictures that had better be left alone and not attempt to put a description.

Handsome Ben in a 3 wheeled pick-up made in Japan.

Funny lookin' I know!  (Taylor and his friend were repairing it)

Grace and Michelle H. during a reenactment.  They are dear girls and we treasure their friendship!

Gracie wetting her feet in the heat of the day.

And other young ladies follow suit!

 Michelle and I together.

The boys enjoyed an evening of wrestling and having a great time!

 Cute little guys!

A lovely picture of Gracie, Lydia and Sarah.

We were greatly blessed to be able to spend 5 days at a condo in a lovely resort.  It was a wonderful time spent doing fun family activities and resting when we wanted to!  It was great fun.  This was our view from the back windows!

We thoroughly enjoyed eating these famous and amazing doughnuts.  Wow they were good!  (remember this picture because I will shortly be posting a new Fairchild Family Flim...and the hint it is: it has something to do with these doughnuts!)

Mom took this for me!

 All 5 of us sisters!

We also enjoyed a lively game of miniature golf!  That was a new and delightful experience for all of us!

Dad helped Lydia with her hits.  I love their expressions in this
picture, serious golfers!

We were able to explore a mile long lava tube deep under ground.  Cold, dark and scary!  It wasn't really scary but it wouldn't have been fun if we hadn't made spooky noises and jumped out at each other.

Then we drove up to the top of a mountain which was almost 8,000 feet high!  It was really cold and windy up there but the spectacular view was worth the misery!

At a wedding recently our family enjoyed blowing bubbles!  Emma is trying to figure this thing out!

Molly just enjoys looking at everyone and swatting bubbles that her family was more than happy to blow her way.   What a doll she is!

 She has it down!

Heather harvested an abundance of herbs out of the herb garden and hung them to dry in the attic.  They looked lovely but our home was invaded with far too many bugs and spiders from the herbs!  lol!

Lydia turns 6!  I can't believe the "baby" of the family is already 6!  Emma enjoyed being treated like a princess right along with Lydia.

Benjamin is showing Molly how to play with a little toy.  She was totally enraptured for a long time and didn't move or seem to grow weary of the toy!

Lydia blowing out her candles from her interesting but yummy cake.

Right now we have the honor of having my grandpa's cousins, Mary and Mozelle here for a visit.  They are from SC and have the most darling southern drawls.  We're picking up the drawl too which means our southern roots are coming to the surface!

Grandpa and his cousins under a covered bridge just around the corner from our house.

Well, I hope you enjoyed looking through these pictures!  Stay tuned for the most recent Fairchild Family Film!  hehehe!  Can't wait to post it!

My nieces are growing!

Darling Emma Christine 23 months old.  She wanted to talk to me on the phone today so Keslie gave her the phone and we had quite the conversation as she jabbered in her sweet little voice about all sorts of things.  I didn't know what she was talking about but it was a delight to hear her little voice happy and cheerful talking about happy things in her life.  When I asked her questions she said: "Yeah!" and then proceeded to tell me all about it!  She is a dear!

Sweet Molly Sophia is 6 months old now.  She has such a dear personality and smiles very quickly at her family.  Her beautiful eyes sparkle and her face lights up with her smile.  She loves to be talked to and has to see what is going on around her; she certainly is a social little thing!  Her and Emma get along very well and it's fun to see these 2 little sisters together.  Molly's little cheeks are just begging to be kissed!

Auntie-hood is splendid and I love these two girls dearly!  We are truly blessed having them and their mommy in our family!
