Spring time, kittens and cake!

The apple trees are blooming! Oh, and of course my sister is too!

The black mama cat is in labor and in her box is her baby from the last batch.

Guenevere doesn't really know what to make of that little white thing that makes a funny noise...! She just sat there watching for a very long time!

The two little white ones and you can barely see the gray one to the left. They are so tiny! Edith, Sargent Louis, and Annabelle are their names!

Heather made a cake this week for a gal at my dad's office. This was her first attempt at roses! I think she did a lovely job.

Isn't Spring grand! I remember baby kitty days. Some of my fondest childhood memories were when we would awake to find a new brood of babies. I always thought it was incredible. What a wonderful way to learn the delicate nature of things and watch the progression and development into cathood. An excellent witness to the creativity of God.

The roses are incredible! I am sure she was delighted when she saw it. I cheated on my first rosey cake. I used the hard kind you peel off the paper. (eek)

God Bless,
Kelly

Oh, kittens are SOOOO fun. Our family has assisted mama cats in raising many litters of kittens over the years. We've even joked about writing a book about cats...we've had that many experiences! Once we even raised three kittens whose mother abandoned them. We had to bottle feed them and give them baths among other things. Seeing your photos makes me want kittens again! Isn't life a miracle?
