Enjoying our new home!

Like the title says, we are greatly enjoying our new home! Here are some pictures of the goings-on!

Lydia fell asleep on dads lap
after an exhausting day of decorating!

Anna was here on Sunday with her mom and Lydia wanted Anna to read a book! Everyone was captivated!

I have been very much enjoying the kitchen! I made four loaves of spelt bread.

And also scones!

Dad finished all the tile he could do till after the range hood is installed. I was able to get all the grouting done as well! Whew! There is still so much to do in this house! Here is the kitchen window sill.

Detail!

Also, much to the joy of our whole family, Grandpa got the door knobs installed! Whew! It was such a pain to get them open and not scratch the wood with our finger nails! The knobs make the kitchen look finished!

Mom got the drawer pulls at a garage sale and then painted them black! The knobs were garage sale bargains as well, $1 total, and were painted to match the pulls!

On the island!

The other day was so lovely and the sunshine was calling to us! Keslie was here so we all took a walk down to the creek and had a lovely time throwing rocks and building towers!

"See what I found?"

Keslie and Gracie made this tower!

Ben andLydia made this one!
A cute cottage in the woods!

On our way back!

Spring is coming!!!!! Look at those lovely tulips that a friend gave us!

Then Gracie made some coconut cookies and Lydia was more than eager to help! Look at that smile!

Now she's a little more serious and getting to work!

Thanks for taking time to stop by! Hope you have a lovely day!

Enjoying the new home and I am sure enjoying the chance to see your Dad and Grandfather more often ... even though so much still to be done I just imagine it is wonderful to be all in one place.
It sure looks lovely.
Love, Mrs. M

You all did such a nice job. The tile looks awesome! The door and window frames remind me of our OKC house. They're almost identical. Your home looks so warm and comfortable.
