The day of the wedding

The morning of the wedding has come. Sarah and I were getting ready when we looked out the window and saw Michael and David come striding across the field. It was so special to see the two friends out one last time before the wedding. God has blessed David with dear friends!

Curls are beginning!

Sarah tackles Gracie's hair!

Half curled!

Me doing Gracie's hair.

Sarah's getting her's done! So much fun! =)

Peek!

The guys washing the car for the last time before the wedding!

More curls, more up do's!

At the barn! Actually, the girl's room was the canning shed made into a darling studio/dressing room.

Dresses, dresses!!

Heather and I decide to curl Kami's hair at the same time, much faster!

Someone is getting excited!

Johannah getting her picture taken! Haha!

"This is taking too long...." =)

The ring bearers! Ben and Ben!

Lovely Kami getting all those curls into place.

Body guards Mike and Taylor.

"Back off!"Kami helping David with his tie.

The flowers girls...

...looking too cute!

Best man looking sharp!

Now I'm helping with his tie! It was hard to get just right!

Back in the girls room. Keslie's curls are done and Heather is making sure they will not come out!
Mrs. M pinning on David's boutonniere.

And Gabe gets one!

And Ben! Actually, both Ben's ended up with 2 because of all the tousling they do, they messed their's up!

After pinning up her hair I had to make sure Keslie's veil wouldn't fall off! It worked! =)

"Just that one curl needs fixed!"

Keslie making sure it's just right! Isn't she stunning? Lydia's shoes!

One more pin!

Keslie lacing up Heather! What a bride!!!

The guys waiting.

All working together! We didn't want to waste time!

Annie getting her hair done!

Some of the Fairchild girls!

David and I right before family pictures.

Siblings.

Michael.

Sarah and her mom.

Father, mother and son (and Sam taking their picture)

Dancing! She loved her dress!

Watching big sister. Mrs. C tying Keslie's bow. Yes, there were many tears watching this! =)

Sarah grew up with Keslie from infancy, now she is watching her prepare herself for her husband. All ready!

Off to get pictures!

Our cousin Micah looking sharp!

My grandpa looking over the program. We really missed having my grandma there. She would have loved this lovely day and wonderful friends.

Emma signing the guest book.

And my grandpa Holder!

The mothers right before the wedding!

The wedding is starting! The pastor (my dad), the groom and his men are entering the room!

Gracie is getting into the line for the brides maidens!
Here comes Heather!

And me!

We are all awaiting the moment of the brides entrance!
Especially him! He is marrying the woman we all have prayed for! The woman who will be his help meet! Wow!

Like I thought, Lydia turned her bucket upside down to get all the flowers out! Too cute!

Here she is! :gasp: She was stunning! I think all us girls were crying at this point!

A new family in the making!

Their first ever kiss! It was sweet to behold!

Followed by a loving embrace!

Mr. and Mrs.!

The audience with my aunt, uncle and cousin Mackenzie in the foreground.

David and Keslie are married! See next post for the reception and going away!

We are getting swamped with photos! But please don't stop; they help us relive the memories and gently break the shock of going back to a normal school routine after our busy summer! Oh, what an encouragement it was to attend that wedding!
Hugs!
Love,
Sarah

What glorious pictures!! I just can't see enough of this precious God-honoring couple!! They are such a testimony-- from their shining faces full of love and respcet for each other, to the modest and elegant clothes, to the touching pictures of the close relationships they have cultivated within their family!!
I'm so happy for David and Keslie, and for your families as you rejoice together!!
