Our Mother's Day Picnic!

Our mother surrounded by her 8 children, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren!  What a joy this picture is to our family as we watch the children and grandchildren grow.  We all feel incredibly honored to be given to such a mother, one who loves and cares for us and longs to see each of her offspring growing in Christ and clinging to Him for their very existence.   We long to honor her by our actions and to glorify God by showing her due praise.

We celebrated Mother's day a couple days early and since it was a weekday Dad wasn't able to be with us which was very sad and we missed him greatly. We took Mom to a lovely nursery and brought along a picnic lunch to share.  After eating and taking some pictures we wondered around and bought mom some stunning roses!  I also bought one with my birthday money.  Thank you Auntie Kim!

"May I have a drink, auntie?"  I don't think he was thinking that sophisticated but it sounds cute.  ;-)

 Our sweet Molly Sophia!

She greatly enjoyed her sandwich and salad!  (Not to mention the 2 scratches and at least one bruise!)

Oops!  Got it on his toes!

Lydia and Molly deciding which English rose to buy.  Hummm...

Lydia had to show Molly her new trick!  She looked rather like a charming monkey hanging in the tree.

 Lovely girly smiles!

 Aw!

I know these are not the best lighting and all but Molly just looked SOOO cute in them I had to share!

 Hehehe!

 Aw!  Sweetheart!

Owen turned 1 year old this week!  What a precious year it has been to get to know and fall deeply in love with our little man!

Keslie and her children!  Happy Mother's Day Keslie!

I'm sorry for posting so many of these girls but I can't help thinking they are the cutest girls ever!  What precious smiles!

One of the climbing old English roses we got for mom!

Well, yes, I guess we did take a while and the poor guys didn't really have that much interest in the flowers and vegetables so they found a cozy place to camp out.  Actually they were supposed to be watching our purses!  Tisk!

Happy Mother's Day mommy!
We love you!
