The second story......

......has a floor!!!!! The "work crew" started and then finished the sheeting on the second floor today! Thankfully it didn't begin to rain until they were laying the last piece of sheeting! We were praying they would keep dry!

Here are the recent pictures of the house in progress:

So the front door comes right into the kitchen? I don't think I've ever been in a house like that, how interesting! I can kind of picture how the house will look once it's all finished. Keep up the good work boys! (And of course good job on the video Amber, you kept the "shake" factor to a minimum.) :-D

Oh Kess you just HAD to bring that up didn't you...I told Heather (after she gasped and said the same thing) that I went back under it to "undo" the bad luck... hehehe Really I wasn't even thinking about such nonsense...

Nathan, the entry comes frist into the diningroom actually, and yes that is a little odd. We had to do it that way to get the kitchen/dining area close enough to the familyroom. We didn't want everything to be too spread out. The library is to the right of the entry. I'm not sure if I showed that in the video.

Sarah, wasn't that funny that the kids kept calling dad! I tried to make sure everyone knew I was recording so they wouldn't yell too much. It worked, mostly!
