Waiting for the train

With Lydia as my subject, a delightful train station in town and my trusty camera at my side I knew the result was going to be lovely but what I didn't realize at the time was that none of that would have worked had it not been for dear Lydia and her love of posing for me! Enjoy!

Beautiful pictures Amber! So many of them look like stills from a movie...truly, they are impressive. Lydia is adorable as well! I love her outfit and the props!

Absolutely adorable! It's crazy to see her so big since I think I started reading your blog when she was just a little thing with her mop of blond curls.

Thank you all so much for the comments! I adore historical clothing and photograph and the combination makes for great fun! I just finished a 1950's dress for Gracie and I'll be getting pictures of her in it soon! Stay tuned!

This photo shoot is absolutely beautiful Amber! Each photo made me smile with joy. These pictures have a serene beauty of a little girl waiting patiently for the train. They tell a story!

I love it. :)

And how do you get her to pose so perfectly??? Her expressions are so perfect. My siblings amaze me in the same way. It's like they don't even try! ;-) Their poses and expressions make it so easy for us photographers. :)

God bless you guys!! I miss you.
