This is one of the most exciting updates I've posted here! =) After a year and half of planning this house and the building process, we have a moving date, well, two actually! Jan. 31 my family is going to be moving the BARE necessities in to our new home, such as our beds, clothes, and kitchen (my sewing machine is already there, so that necessity is already accounted for! LOL!). We'll be living there the next week while finishing up packing up the "rental" and shop! The 3rd will be the official moving day! We are so excited and very relieved since this whole process has been a very long and tiring one for our whole family. We've been so blessed to see God working through so many things, big and small! We hope and pray God will bless not only our family with this house but many others as well.
Okay, now for a few pictures!
Mom has been working on the stairs, both sets of them. Each stair case needs to be conditioned, stained, three coats of varnish, primer (for the white part), and then three coats of paint. It is a long tiring job and she is doing a great job but she wishes it were done!
Okay, now for a few pictures!
(oh that sounds morbid! How about this: "and ready to be set in place."???)!
Thank you all for taking the time to scroll through all these! I don't know! Maybe my next post will be after we move! =) What a cheerful thought!
Blessing to you all!

Amber - great job documenting the progess. I am so excited for your family. It looks beautiful. What a job for your mom on the stairs. Slow work, but so necessary! God is so good. Mary Buzzell
Everything looks great! How exciting! Thanks for the update. I'll be praying for a successful move.
Love, Sarah
A long process draws to a close! ...or a beginning!!
I LOVE your kitchen sink! I have a strong dislike for divided sinks. Whoever invented them was not a dishwasher.
I also LOVE the island fixture! So elegant!
I agree about the sink! We set a big pot in it the other day and it disappeared! It's nice to know that if we do have dish in the sink it isn't going to be the first thing company sees when they come in.
Thank you all so much for your prayers!
Amber,
The house looks so beautiful! You all have worked so very hard. It is truely a "home" with all the hands of the family making it so beautiful. Keep sending the pictures.
And hey, give my friend Kelly a little break huh? She looks a little worn! lol
