Thanksgiving

The joy of being a Christian is made full when we're able to thank God for His goodness to us in the good times and the hard.  Over this last year I've been humbled as I think of all the ways God has been gracious to me.  From the darkest valley to the highest mountain, He has been my strength and my joy.  This year, if asked what I'm thankful for I will say, "I'm thankful and blessed that my God is patient and good to me."  He alone knows what is best for me and nothing that happens in my life, good or bad, is in vain.

This year we get to celebrate what God has done for us with this charming girl!  It's Vienna's first Thanksgiving and yes, she will be tasting the food too!  I'm very thankful for her spunky personality and precious smile that would melt the hardest of hearts.

I'm thankful too, for family, grandparents, and old and new friends to celebrate Thanksgiving with.  He is good!

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!  Psalm 118:1

I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.  Psalm 108:3

I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.
Psalm 7:17

I give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify Your name forever.  Psalm 86:12

Summer time, green grass and darling children!  What joy it is to watch my nieces and nephew enjoying life!

 3 brown-eyed munchkins!

An auntie and her niece.  Lydia has blossomed into such a dear little "mother" to numerous children!  She has become quite the little young lady.

 So precious!

Owen is growing up so fast!!!  What a guy!

Precious girly!

Vienna is almost 4 months old!  Goodness, she is just so sweet!

Mother's Day!

Since my brothers left for church early to help set up, we were only able to get us girls in a picture with our mother.  At least all five of us sisters were able to do a fun (and quick) photo shoot with our precious mother.

We are all deeply thankful to God for giving us to such a dear mother.  Even after her 31 years of child-raising, she still doesn't tire of being a mother to her children and she shows she cares for us by pointing us to Christ and has helped our dad to instill in us a desire to please Him.  We are so thankful for her!   We love you mom!!!

A Tandem Bike Ride!!!

We recently were able to ride a tandem bike at a families home and we had a blast!  Believe me, it's not as easy as it looks!

Wow!  They look so tame, calm, cool and collected!

Maybe not!  Lol!

Gracie had way too much fun terrorizing me!  But it really was fun!

Vienna and I on Easter!!

I enjoyed a sweet snuggle with my niece on Easter afternoon!!  She's growing so fast!
