Welcoming our......
... little Miss Molly Sophia!
Friday morning mom and I got up before dawn to dress and get ready to head to David and Keslie's. We got a call to hurry since things were moving fast and indeed labor was going very fast! We got to their home at 5:30am and at 5:45am little Molly was born into a family who loves her dearly. Mom got Emma up minutes after the birth so she could see her new sister and being overjoyed, she wanted to hold her right away! She's going to make a wonderful big sister!
Big sister Emma holding her little sister for the first time. It was none too soon in her opinion!
Looking at her little arms and legs
Emma can't stop kissing her and making an "awww" sound each time! It was much too darling!
My family arrives to meet our little Molly!
There were tears and smiles all around!
Time for everyone to hold her!
Great-grandpa taking a turn!
She looks like one happy grandma! Aww!
Grandpa getting to see her for the first time.
What grandpa's enjoy most! Telling their granddaughters how beautiful they are!
Kami graciously took a few pictures of Molly and I!

The Amazing, Fun-packed Month of July
Ready? Set! Here we GO!!!! Everybody find a seat and hold on tight as you take a breeze through our fantastic month of July!
Summer brings swimming in the creek that runs through and behind our property.
This month also brought some VERY dear friends to our home for a long visit! Sarah J. and her family were able to spend a lot of time with us including Sarah's birthday!
The day after they arrived we day-tripped it to a reenactment with them. It was like old times as we got ready and enjoyed the day with them.
Happy girls
There is our unit!
Next day was the 4th of July and we had a mini BBQ with the J's and the C family. Kami and Becca played some lovely songs on the piano while girls cooked in the kitchen, moms talked at the island, dad's BBQ'd out back and kids jumped on the trampoline.
Dad was able to seed the lawn! It's growing! Rocks? Yes, we live on the old creek bed!
:sniff: I can smell the hamburgers now!
After lunch we headed to the creek for a swim and a float!
A bunch of girls on one inner tube!
Heading home all cold and wet!
Stopping to get a group picture!
Back home we started a camp fire and of course the S'mores were brought out!
The moms were so goofy during their photo shoot! lol!
Then we headed over to Uncle Pat's for tons of fireworks!
Our girls with Annabelle Cash and Dixie Weber!
Lydia liked Mrs. Cash's dog and cuddled it when it was scared because of the fireworks!
Other happy girls!
Kami and Jack Cash!
Another birthday! He didn't turn 1! He's older than that! hehehe!
Yummm!
Annie and her toothless grin!
The parents!
A few days later we attended a funeral for a young man we had known all his live. It was a very sad and sobering time.
Ben looking at the casket.
The yard is looking better this year! We got a couple of loads of mint compost and it really changed our yard.
The porch with the evening sun shining on it!
I bought this little girl for my hope chest! I thought she was so lovely and feminine and couldn't pass her up!
Dad working on an order for a customer. He made a corner cupboard and it turned out beautiful!
He is very detailed and loves making things lovely and strong.
A close up of the bottom doors and drawer.
Family Camp Time!!
Sarah and Annie waiting for everyone to get ready to head to breakfast.
The trek up the hill after flying down the zip line!
Boys watching the big boys playing horseshoes.
Me with little Miss Emma! She wasn't too sure she liked the cold water but I sure did!!
Even though Camp is fun its tiring too!
Our area where we always hung out.
Dad playing a fun bean bag game...we need to make one of those!
Keslie and I taken by Heather.
Ben trying out the tight rope walk
It wouldn't be family camp without the water slide, that's Ben running up for another ride down!
Ready for the meeting
Miss Kami!
Sarah and Mrs. J. look like their having fun!
Happy girls!
Dad and David played Volleyball for hours! Dad felt it for weeks! hehehe!
Ben enjoying the pond
I know Gracie wouldn't like this on here but I think it's cute! She fell asleep on the drive home from Family Camp.
A couple of days later we went to the beach with the C and J families! Auntie Lydia and Annie are entertaining Emma in the sand...
"Let's bury Lydia!"
What could Emma be thinking????
"I'm going to kiss my Auntie!!!"
Exploring the tide pools
Ta da!
Sarah and I stayed behind because of the camera's... so I took her picture!
Annie enjoyed the warm puddle!
So did Emma!
hehehe!
Pretty girl and my darling niece!
Our messy "homebase".
The beautiful mom's!
Sarah and I!
Right before the tearful goodbye's were said... :sniff:
Lydia is a little cold after a dip in the ocean!
After the C ladies left we cheered ourselves up by burying Michael!
"Tickle tickle!"
Awww! I think she likes her daddy!
We then went to the docks to look around. Taylor was in Alaska at the time on a fishing boat with Mr. C and the boys so it was fun to think that they were in the same atmosphere as we were just then!
I love all the colors in this picture
Group picture!
Homemade ice cream is a must in the summer when you have friends over!
Lydia had a cut on her hand so we had her soak it and she was so tired she fell asleep at the island! Poor thing!
Another birthday! Gracie turned 15 and the H family were there to share the joy with us!.
She wanted ice cream with lots of different toppings.
Looks good!
Um...yeah, that is Helga Rosenstein, the Fairchild's cousin. She was our entertainment one evening, and what entertainment she is, you can't believe it until you see it!!!!!!
Watched old family videos with Emma and it was so fun to hear her say our names when she recognized us. She really liked that!
Okay there you have it 84 pictures later! July was a busy month, wouldn't you say?
