Some friends came over, Mr. and Mrs. V. They were both so helpful! Mr. V crawled around on the floor and measured out the place for the wood stove, saving Dad lots of time and talked through many essential things. 
Mrs. V is invaluable with her wonderful talent of thinking outside of the box! She has so many delightful ideas! Her home is amazing with all the things she makes out of nothing! She is a great inspiration and mentor, and so sweet too!
The place for the wood stove! Although it doesn't look like that anymore! =) Dad finished framing it in!! Grandpa and Taylor put in the stairs that go out the back porch. It is fun to see all the "little" things getting done!

More of his handy work! This is under the house! I didn't crawl under there, so this picture was taken by my more adventurous sister, Gracie! lol!Last night the man who is going to make our cabinets came over to the house with his family (they are family friends of ours) and we talked and discussed the way we want the cabinets! It was great fun! I didn't get any pictures since it was dark by the time they came. There will be other pictures of him and his handiwork some day soon! =)
